The ISA Study Abroad Student Blog was created in 2009 as an open forum for ISA students to explore all aspects of the study abroad experience through stories, photos and other media. In 2015 it become the first and only study abroad blog to be recognized as a WordPress Recommended Travel Blog.
The goal of the blog is to help prospective students get an inside view of what life is like as an ISA participant so they can make an informed decision about which study abroad location best suits their academic and personal goals. Our efforts to promote student learning are shaped by an educational framework we call the ISA Discovery Model. According to this model, student learning and development is organized into five areas of discovery: Intercultural, Historical, Sociopolitical, Professional and Environmental.
