Get the Picture: Sharing the Joy with Victoria Crynes

A semester studying abroad should be full of learning and discovery–and maybe a little bit of mystery. The ISA Prague program is no exception! Students spending a semester or year studying at Charles University and learning the Czech language don’t just get the opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous city where they study; they also have a chance to go on the ISA excursion to Kutna Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage City. It’s no wonder such a historic, enchanting place made for the perfect setting for the photo that won the I’m With ISA category of  the Photo Contest!

We caught up with Arizona State University student Victoria Crynes after she returned from her adventures in Prague to learn more about this fantastic excursion and what inspired her to snap the winning photo.

Kutna Hora

“The picture was taken during an ISA excursion to Kutna Hora. We spent the day exploring the beautiful city, cathedral and castle. We ended it by visiting a church filled with hundreds of bones! These were some of the girls in our program taking a coffee break outside. I loved the happiness and excitement on their faces, as it was our first excursion and we were fresh to the country!”

Thank you so much, Victoria, for sharing the excitement of Kutna Hora and the Czech Republic with us!
